Jenny Maragia founded Studio 3 in 2009 out of a desire to teach children to love music. She has been teaching privately since the age of fourteen through various venues and studios.
Jenny is also an active performer within the community and has been participating in music ministry both locally and abroad since the age of thirteen.
A former student of the late and locally renowned teacher; Irene Glasford, Jenny enjoys adapting theory and technique into fun and creative lessons.
Jenny enjoys playing piano, singing and gardening, as well as homeschooling her four children. Her creative and innovative approach to learning fills Jenny’s time away from the studio with fun and adventure.
“Jenny’s skill in performing and teaching music is rivaled only by her fiery entrepreneurial spirit. Everything she touches turns to gold because of how she lives her life: She treats others exactly how she wants to be treated. This type of respect and care goes a long way as an educator, but it is irreplaceable as a small business owner. I have watched Studio 3 flourish over the course of my time with Jenny, and it quickly became the talk of the town. She is able to do in months what would take some years due to her determination and incredible work ethic. She lives in a world of possibilities, but her head is not in the clouds. She can see the challenges, but she meets them head on an exceeds expectations. If she can take a student like me who could only play piano by ear at 15 and have me ready for collegiate level sight-reading auditions by 18, she can do anything. Because of Jenny, I graduated with a bachelor’s in Music in 2016 and now play piano and teach voice regularly. You will never regret time and money spent on Jenny. Your only regret will be not finding her sooner!”
